Formed in 2012 by Candlemass mastermind Leif Edling, the chart-smashing band have so far released two EPs, four critically acclaimed full-length albums and their epic live DVD An Evening With Avatarium - Live in Stockholm is out in January 2020. The current high-class line-up consists of singers Jenny Ann Smith, Marcus Giddell (Evergrey, Soen), Mats Rydström, Andreas Habo Johansson and Daniel Carlsson.
Following the first single "God Is Silent", AVATARIUM unveils the album title song "Death, Where Is Your Sting" for the first time! Singer Jenny Ann reveals: "The song 'Death, Where's Your Sting' is like a very personal conversation with death. "
On October 21, 2022, Swedish doom rock giants AVATARIUM will release their fifth studio album Death, Where Is Your Sting under the banner of AFM Records.
Death, Where Is Your Sting was produced by Marcus Jidell, mixed by Mats Valentin and Jidell, and was mastered by Svante Forsbäck.
